But Apache didn’t give up,

\nthrough grit, through grace, and
\nthrough people who did what it took,
\nhis family was found again.
\nWhile one mare and baby were found
\nshot in the forest, by callous cowards, we found the rest of them alive.
\nOne by one his mares and babes
\neach in a different auction,
\nA band stitched back together,
\nby a community and by love.
\nNow he lives safely
\nwith his original family,
\ntogether again, protected. They’ll never again be shot at, the fear is gone from his eyes, because he’s learned that he is safe.
