The fire is currently 60 acres, burning in grass and brush with 0% containment. There are no structures threatened, and no evacuations are in effect. The cause of the fire is under investigation.<\/p>\n<p>Firefighters will remain on scene into the evening, working towards containment. There are no closures associated with the Christmas Fire, however, please use extreme caution if recreating in the area. Fire crews will be traveling in the area performing suppression operations.<\/p>\n<p>Please be careful with all fire ignition sources when recreating in the forest.
