As most of you know we protect and humanely manage the Salt River wild horses. With our dedicated volunteer force we monitor the health of every horse, we stabilize their population growth, we patrol the roads for their safety, we help them when needed, we rescue when there is no other option, we supply four feed stations with hay to get them through the drought, we give sanctuary to our rescues and even rescue abandoned pets and fix up abandoned horses we find in the forest.<\/p>\n

What most of you might not know is that our programs do not get funded by anyone but you, the public. It means that our success depends entirely on you. During these hard times, we can only do what we can afford and we are sad to say that many people canceled their monthly donations.<\/p>\n
