Things that make us go: SERIOUSLY??<\/p>\n

Someone just backed up their trailer and thought “here’s a good place for my garbage!?”<\/p>\n

While we had some fun photo opportunities with the larger discards, like the “yacht” from Gilligan’s Island and the orange couch from Friends, it is apparent that some people are just not comprehending what the forest is actually for and why we have it..<\/p>\n

TV’s, boat, couches, entire dump loads of trash, old cement, dead animals, live animals, etc, on our daily patrol, yes we see it all.<\/p>\n

So sadly instead of a nice wild horse post today, it seems necessary that we ask for your help in spreading the word that the TONTO NATIONAL FOREST is NOT A DUMP.<\/p>\n

P.S. Did you know that you can actually get time in JAIL (up to 6 months!) for dumping garbage in the forest? Plus a 500 dollar fine, which will for sure will make any trasher want to go back in time and pay the 10 dollars for the dump instead. We have eyes and ears in the forest everywhere, and we plan to catch a few offenders in the act, no matter if it’s your water bottle or your old couch you’re trying to get rid of. Go ahead, bring us some more photo opportunities.<\/p>\n
